Hello friends,
We are proud to announce that our student, Patrick Hernly, will have his first Tabla recital featuring Pratyush Goberdhan. This special event occurs on August 25th at 7 PM at The Music Center at St. Petersburg College (6605 5th Ave N, ST. Pete, FL). This is a free event, so please join us as we celebrate Patrick's Manch Pravesh recital. Manch Pravesh, which means ascending to the stage. The very first time, we will see Patrick perform his solo. A graduation ceremony where the student is chosen by their guru (teacher) to perform and showcase what they have learned. There will be refreshments available as well.
About Patrick:
Dr. Patrick Hernly is a music professor at St. Petersburg College. He is an active percussionist, musical director, and researcher. He has performed worldwide with Grammy, Golden Globe, and Oscar-winning artists, and his research has been published in national and international publications.
