"Gaṇēśaṃ namastē." Arryan Patel's spiritual journey began at an early age, marked by a profound connection tosacred sound. Though his mother tongue is Gujarati, Arryan has always exhibited an affinity for Sanskrit—reading, writing, and immersing himself in its ancient vibrations. His spiritual path naturally led him to devotional music across various Indian languages. Through years of deep listening to Mantras, Shlokas, Stutis, and Bhajans, Arryan developed a special connection with Lord Ganesha. This divine relationship has blossomed into his debut spiritual album, "Gaṇēśaṃ namastē"—a heartfelt offering to the remover of obstacles and Lordof all Ganas. "Gaṇēśaṃ namastē" opens with a sacred vedic Invocation , establishing the spiritual foundation for the listening experience. This is followed by the mesmerizing Dhundiraja Bhujanga Prayata Stotram which describes the qualities and glories of Ganesha as Vighnaharta, the remover of all obstacles and hindrances. The album continues with Ganesh Pancharatnam , the revered five-jeweled hymn composed by the great sage Adi Shankaracharya. Next comes the beloved Sukhkarta Dukhharta , a popular Marathi aarti dedicated to Lord Ganesha, originally composed by the Saint Samarth Ramdas. The album concludes with the humble surrender prayer "Ghalin Lotangan ," signifying complete devotional submission to the divine. Arryan offers this album as an expression of his eternal dedication to the lotus feet of Lord Ganesha, with deep gratitude to his Guruji Shankh Lahiri who guided this spiritual musical offering. Namaste!
Namaste and hello to all, Greetings from the Shruti family! On behalf of the Shruti Foundation and the Shruti School of Music, I am so proud for this projest. "Nightingale" – A compilation of songs for the next generation. During the lockdown, many of us were confined at home, and our social activities were severely restricted. Netflix and Zoom became our constant companions. Our children faced challenges in engaging in activities and finding fun things to do. As a father of a seven-year-old son, I understand how much he has missed out on during this time. In May, by God's grace, I had the idea to produce a music album for our kids to encourage their creativity and nurture their natural talents. I hoped this project would allow us to remember the pandemic in a positive way. I am immensely grateful to all the members of the Shruti School of Music and the Shruti Foundation, as well as the parents for their support. A special thanks goes to my friend from Mumbai, Debasish Bhattacherjee, who agreed to co-produce, arrange, mix, and master this album. Last but not least, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the kids: Aditeya, Maatangi, Shaan, Sahil, Krishiv, Kinnari, Avani, Savan, Meenakshi, Karina, and Kavi. They did a wonderful job singing their parts, bringing so much joy to this project. They recorded videos, learned the music, and demonstrated pure love and passion for music in a way I've never experienced before. Thank you all for your support, friendship, and belief in me. We look forward to celebrating together, virtually and in spirit, uniting the world through the power of music and the arts. Best wishes, Shankh Lahiri Founder and Director of Shruti Foundation & Shruti School of Music (a non-profit organization) Wahh World Fusion Band Shankh and Friends (A Global Project)
