The 1st Annual East-West Music & Dance Festival will bring (200 dancers and musicians) eastern and western artists from the Tampa Bay community and beyond together for a one-of-a-kind event to showcase the talents of musicians and dance performers, stretching hands across geographic and cultural divides in order to fellowship together in the universal language of song and dance. The festival will feature both small and large group performances with a spotlight on Indian flavors inspired by the Choreographer Shivali Vyas and her dance company Spinning Canvas presenting a unique group performances engaging over 100 dancers of different styles of folk dance and music from the Gujrat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Southern regions and beyond.
